Aquam Dei translated for “Water of God” is brought to you as the drink of beauty. The base of all our beverages is made up of Alkaline water. It is proven to increase ones health and serves as a great alternative to consuming tap or spring water. So we thought…why not add some flavor to it. Glad you wondered the same thing! Our Top 3 Ingredients’ Benefits
Alkaline Water
90% of our beverages are made up on 9.5 pH Alkaline water. Those who consumed high-pH water reduced viscosity by 6.3 percent compared to 3.36 percent with standard purified drinking water. This means blood flowed more efficiently with alkaline water. This can increase oxygen delivery throughout out the body. Some health benefits are: anti-aging properties, colon-cleansing properties, immune system support hydration, skin health, and other detoxifying properties. Weight loss, cancer resistance, high blood pressure, diabetes, and high Cholesterol.
Ginger
Ginger is a flowering plant that originated in Southeast Asia. It’s among the healthiest (and most delicious) spices on the planet. The unique fragrance and flavor of ginger come from its natural oils, the most important of which is gingerol. Gingerol is the main bioactive compound in ginger. It’s responsible for much of ginger’s medicinal properties. Gingerol has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It has anti-cancer properties while also aiding to lower infections. Ginger can help with osteoarthritis, weight loss, nausea, morning sickness, lowering blood sugar, and improving heart disease risk factors.
Mint
Mint is the name for over a dozen plant species, including peppermint and spearmint, that belong to the genus Mentha. Mint is a particularly good source of vitamin A, a fat-soluble vitamin that is critical for eye health and night vision. It is also a potent source of antioxidants, especially when compared to other herbs and spices. Antioxidants help protect your body from oxidative stress, a type of damage to cells caused by free radicals. Mint’s health benefits range from improving brain function and digestive symptoms to relieving breastfeeding pain, cold symptoms and even bad breath.
